Serious question does anyone else’s dentist call them a “good girl/boy” or is it just mine. Or is it just my schizo twang (yes I gave it a name, it’s noticeable enough to need one) outting me as a special needs.
Everytime I go to the dentist he says “that’s a good girl!” In the same way my mom tells my dog.
Biggest L I’ve taken in life
At the point where if my coworkers say good morning I just look at them and say “no it is not a good morning”.
I overheard someone say “when are they gonna play different music :/ they really seem to be catering to the EDM crowd..”.
It was a Marshmello set. On EDC weekend.
New doctor I'm seeing for the first time pulled the dumbest shit
They fucking scammed me. With a lie about insurance. Unluckily for them, I've worked in insurance for 5 years. I'm not easily fooled.
They told me "you have a deductible so that'll be $1,000, sorry but you're insurance says you have a deductible even for in network :/" so I say yeah I have a deductible. But not for in network office visits. Which this is. I don't pay towards both my deductible and a copay. But they kept doubling "sorry about that :/ we can go down to $300". So it pains me to say, but I was crying. I was crying because I have been bleeding out of my vagina for the past 2 months, and now I have a gyno office trying to pull dumb shit, and now I have to pay $300. Or I could just not see the doctor, but I haven't had a pap smear in 3 years so I shouldn't really wait any longer, it's now or hold off for another 3 years. I also knew that they're required to refund overcharges (when they don't get away with it), so I'd most likely get my money back at some point. So I swallowed my pride, which was also the only dinner I could now afford, and sat back down to wait. While waiting, I pulled up chat support on my insurances app and confirmed with them that I was right, front office staff was wrong, and once they receive the claim I can file a grievance as what they did is against policy.
Now the only part that sucks is having to find a new gyno because "I'm reporting you to my insurance for fraud and forcing you to give me my money back... Btw about that followup appt" doesn't flow too well
I CALLED IT I FRIGGIN CALLED IT I KNEW I WAS RIGHT BUT NOW I DEFINITELY KNOW
those dumb bitches. Those dumb bitches thought I was the dumb bitch who would go "oh damn my insurance! Insurance bad! Here's $310! Hur dur dur dur durrr"
My insurance received the claim. My dr charged them less than they charged me. And it says RIGHT!! ON!! THE!! CLAIM!! I only was responsible for $25. NOT THREE HUNDRED.
Now I'm anxiously waiting for tomorrow, when the insurance office opens up and I can go tf off.
This is a PSA for y'all to read up on your insurance information because far too often bullshit like this happens. I was lucky enough to know my insurance benefits confidently enough to smell this as fishy, but I could’ve just as easily thought “well they are right I do have a deductible”.
